Charging schedules, backup power, and getting the most from your battery.
When should I set a charge on my battery?
Battery charging schedules are typically used when you have access to a cheaper electricity tariff overnight. Charging the battery during off-peak periods can help reduce electricity costs and ensure sufficient stored energy is available for use during peak-rate periods. If you are on a standard tariff, scheduled charging may not be necessary unless advised otherwise.
Why is my battery percentage low in the morning?
This is normal operation. Your battery is designed to discharge overnight to power your home and reduce electricity imported from the grid. The battery percentage in the morning will depend on your overnight energy consumption and any reserve settings configured on the system.
